D4080
D4080 is a semi-cured, rubber-based friction material engineered for applications that demand a high coefficient of friction with flexible installation options. Supplied in rolls or flat strips, D4080 can be further processed and fully cured into rigid segments or custom-molded shapes—available as D4080-1.
Both D4080 and its fully cured counterpart, D4080-1, deliver excellent fade resistance up to 550°F and maintain strong recovery after short-term exposure to high temperatures. These characteristics make the materials ideal for light- to medium-duty braking or clutch applications where consistent performance and high friction are critical.
