RNAW
RNAW is a premium woven non-asbestos brake lining engineered for demanding braking and clutch applications. Constructed with brass wire-inserted yarns and a carefully balanced blend of organic and inorganic fibers, including Kevlar, RNAW delivers exceptional strength, flexibility, and friction stability.
The woven tape is vacuum impregnated with a high-performance oleoresinous compound, ensuring deep saturation. Through a specialized curing process—featuring slow heat cycles, alternating rolling and compressing, and a final high-temperature step cure—RNAW becomes an extremely dense, durable, and high-performing friction material.

Additional Application Information
Precision-ground to within +0.005" of nominal thickness, RNAW offers reliable performance in both wet and dry applications. Its inherent flexibility allows for easy forming to radius, either cold or with heat up to 250°F, making it ideal for a variety of industrial and mechanical setups.
