AFT200NM
AFT200NM is a phenolic-treated, non-metallic friction material designed for applications requiring high strength, durability, and non-conductive performance. As a non-metallic version of our AFT200 brass wire-inserted cloth, AFT200NM is constructed from Kevlar and fiberglass fabric, then laminated under heat and pressure to form a dense, rigid composite with excellent mechanical integrity.
Engineered for fade resistance, low wear, and machinability, AFT200NM is ideal for gear-driven systems, lug-driven applications, and any environment where metallic friction materials are unsuitable. Its non-metallic construction makes it especially well-suited for use in hydraulic systems, marine environments, and aeronautical components, where insulation and corrosion resistance are critical.
